Demystifying Postsecondary Data Partnership Data Submission

Given the comprehensive nature of PDP data submission, this two-part series focuses on best practices for this process and tips to address common difficulties to reduce time in data submission. The first session will feature the structure and formatting of cohort and course files, and best practices for data submission. In the second session, participants will discuss issues and concerns about the general data submission process, including opportunities to ask questions specific to their institutions during breakout sessions with National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) representatives. Participants will be encouraged to start (or continue) building their files between workshop sessions, allowing the second session to address specific concerns. The workshop is hosted by AIR and presented by NSC team members.
This workshop is designed for anyone who submits data, or is involved in the process of submitting data, at their institution and has not submitted to the PDP successfully yet.

As a result of this workshop, participants will:

  • Understand the basic structure of data submission to the PDP, and how it integrates with NSC data
  • Understand and address common difficulties in PDP data submission (cohort and course files only; excluding the optional financial aid file)
