Data Transformation and Reproducible Analysis in R

As institutions increasingly embrace data-informed decision-making, the demand for efficient, reproducible data analysis methods has grown. This two-part webinar series introduces participants to tools in R that simplify data cleaning, wrangling, and reshaping — offering an effective alternative to traditional SQL and Excel approaches. Through guided exercises using the dplyr package, participants will learn how to transform and summarize data quickly. The course also introduces R Markdown for creating reproducible, parameterized reports that can easily be converted into static or interactive formats for publication and sharing. All code and exercises will be provided through a designated R Studio Cloud workspace.

  • Learn how to perform essential data transformations using R.
  • Navigate the dplyr package to select, filter, sort, group, and summarize data.
  • Create reproducible, parameterized reports using R Markdown.
  • Understand how to generate shareable, flexible reporting outputs from R.
