seekUT: University of Texas System/US Census Bureau Partnership

This webinar discusses the collaboration between The University of Texas System and the U.S. Census Bureau’s Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) program to provide aggregated national salary and debt data of UT graduates by institution and major. Participants will learn how this partnership supports the case for the value of higher education, highlights post-graduation employment outcomes through the PSEO dataset, and fuels seekUT®, a free online tool for students and families. Presenters will discuss the historical context, methodology for calculating wages, and insights revealed through this innovative data initiative. The session also explores how other institutions might establish similar partnerships.
